At Cash for Kids, we believe children and young people should benefit directly from the generosity of their local community. That’s why our promise is simple: when you donate in your area, it stays in your area.
How it works
We have dedicated local fundraising teams across the UK, embedded in the communities they serve. Because they’re part of these communities, they see first-hand the challenges children and families are facing and understand where support is needed most.
Where we have a local team, the money raised in that area stays local. Every pound you donate and every gift you give at Christmas goes directly towards supporting children and young people nearby.
Being on the ground also means we can clearly show the impact of your generosity. We track how funds are used right down to postcode level, giving you confidence that your support is improving lives close to home.

What about other areas?
In some parts of the UK, we don’t yet have a dedicated local team. These include Cornwall, East Anglia, the South East and the South West, which are supported by our London-based team.
In these regions, money raised and gifts donated at Christmas are distributed where the need is greatest. This means your support may not stay exactly where it was given, but it will always go to disadvantaged children and young people who need our help most, whether that’s locally or further afield.
