Children at this year's Barr’s Summer Fun in the Park with free Out to Play Guides courtesy of Cash for Kids and Scottish Natural Heritage and oral health packs, thanks to NHS Greater Glasgow and Radio Clyde.

Welcome to Out to Play!

This free activity book was originally devised by CSV Environment in Bristol, so a big thank you to the team there for allowing us to bring you this resource.

Booklet

Out to Play is a fantastic booklet aimed at parents, playworkers, teachers or anyone working with children aged between two and twelve years of age.

The pack is full of fun, innovative and stimulating biodiversity-themed activities which we hope will allow the children you work with to engage in their local, natural environment.

From pond-dipping to butterfly painting, the activities have been tried and tested to ensure children learn about nature, but in a fun way.

The ‘Get Out There’ section at the end of Out to Play lists some ‘green gems’, the lesser known parks and green spaces where you can sample all the activities on offer.

Acornsleft

We could not have brought you this publication without the help and support of Radio Clyde’s Cash for Kids charity and Scottish Natural Heritage who jointly funded the booklet.
